“Hold onto your butts” is the infamous repeated line by character Ray Arnold, played by Samuel L. Jackson, in Steven Spielberg’s 1993 science fiction adventure film “Jurassic Park,” in reference to the men’s cigarette butts as he switches the power off to the mainframe, but in The Legends of Anlièasiá, you literally need to hold onto . . . at least something! . . . if you’re going on this ride! Fifteen-year-old Aren was hoping to find a home in Iacon but now finds himself on the most dangerous journey of his life. With the help of his faithful wolf companion Blizzard, a riddle wreathed storyteller, and others, Aren must trek across the vast territories of Erenähl in search of an astonishing secret — lost Toa Masters. Along the way, he must test his limits as he battles a host of mystical and mortal enemies determined to stop him. Most of all, he must come to terms with the magic that lies within him and the great beast that dwells within his mind and soul.


There is a streak of fiery light that his haunting Aren's dreams, but now the dead rise to attack him. Now Aren and his friends have to race against an evil death cult, the catch: they must venture beyond the borders of Erenähl to stop them. Along the way, Aren plans a daring rescue of his friend Fletcher and learns a terrible secret about the Heilyn, which makes him worry that stopping them might not be only difficult, but virtually impossible.
